In this Poe re-telling, Eddie is entangled in a web of deceit when his scheme to keep his BFF from abandoning him backfires: now his racing heart causes him to pass out whenever he lies and he’s certain everyone knows his secrets. (MG, C)

Gift of Time
In this multigenerational POV novel, the Greek god Kronos becomes entwined in the lives of Amiyah, Eilian, and Bennett, and they learn time is more tangible than they ever could have imagined. Readers should be advised this work contains an attempted overdose, death, and mentions of childhood trauma as well as child-loss which may be triggering. (A, SF)

Through her window, held ajar by an old left sneaker, Joey Clark listens with care, imagining she can feel the familiar rumble growing stronger beneath her bed. She is waiting for the train that comes to carry away departing souls, determined to prove it’s real.
